    right on!!! Another fun event.

Just want to ask a couple questions that a few others may also have.

    1) 1/4 mile or 1/8 mile?
    2) will the track be prepped?
    3) I assume there will be just one class, but is the a required cruise as is with the Medicine Hat race? (I think that is a great rule as it is easy to have a race car licenced and registered)

    Hi Adrian,

    1) 1/4 mile
    2) Yes the track will be prepped
    3) Yes it is just one class, and the cruise will be mandatory for Shootout participants. Same as Medicine Hat.

Tentative schedule for the the streetcar shootout would be 3 qualifying passes on Friday and possibly 1 qualifying pass Saturday with Eliminations starting later in the day.

Not exactly sure what all the feature cars are going to be. Previously they have had alcohol funny cars, alcohol dragsters, jet cars, pro mods, top fuel drag bikes, etc.

    Update

-There will be a mandatory street cruise that every car wanting to qualify for the race must complete.

-Also, to clarify every car and driver MUST pass NHRA tech for the ET and speed of the vehicle, no exceptions.

The cruise is going to be Friday night after racing leaving the track driving to the city and meeting at a checkpoint and then everyone will be on there way from there (whether they choose to go back to the track or into Saskatoon). The cruise will be around 30km. Similar to Southern Alberta's Fastest Streetcar Shootout.
