    Hey everyone. Thought I'd make a quick post to let you know Power to the Pavement 2017 will be held Saturday June 10, 2017 at MHDRA.
    Friday night will be the typical Friday night street night deal ran by MHDRA. Looking into possibility of a Heads up arm drop deal as well.

    New classes have been made for this year. They are as follows:

    ALL CLASSES Must have Valid Insurance and Registration

    Sport Compact
    -Import or Domestic Sport Compact Chassis
    -Drivetrain must be Sport Compact Origin
    -Any Tire
    -Any Power Adder(s)

    N/A (Naturally Aspirated)
    - Any Tire
    - Any Chassis
    - No Power Adder

    11.50 Index
    - Any Tire
    - Any Power Adder(s)
    - Any Chassis

    Street Tire
    - Any tire with tread rating of 200 or higher
    - Any Power Adder(s)
    - Any Chassis

    275/10.5 1/8th Mile
    - No tire larger than 275 Radial /28x10.5 slick wide
    - Any Chassis
    - Any Power Adder(s)

    Outlaw
    - Any Tire
    - Any Chassis
    - Any Power Adder(s)

    Ooooo i like it! This will be interesting.

    One question and request: why the 1/8 mile for the 275 class? Personally, i would like to run 1/4 and i think other would agree.

    Most heads up 10.5 or 275 racing in Western Canada has gone to 1/8 mile. A lot of vehicles are setup for this so its a consistent format. 1/8 mile also makes the racing more competative

    Just wanted to make a quick post about entry fees and payouts.
    Fees:
    Sport compact, N/A, Street Tire, and 11.50 classes will be a $50 Entry fee.
    275/10.5 and Outlaw classes will be $100.
    Payouts will be determined at time of event based on car count.
    275/10.5 and Outlaw will have a guaranteed minimum $2000 payout to first place based off of a 16 car field! Come get some!
