    Default stock piston ring set

Investigating a faulty cylinder on a bone stock Chev 305 cu. Found out that someone forgot to put the oil ring in on the #1 cylinder. So I'm wondering if anyone out there would have a oil ring lying around collecting dust, that they would part with. Or could I just cut down a oil ring from a 350 cu ?

Tim: I used to be a body guy, not mechanic, but a 305 std bore is 3.736, while a 350 is 4.000, so I'm going to say the 350 rings are not going to help..............others who know much more than me will likely confirm or deny my assumption shortly

Ya I figured the 350 rings were larger in circumference, but couldn't a guy just cut out a piece off the oil ring of a 350 to fit the bore ?
