Calgary Perf. Parts Center Now JB'S?
Was just told that the Calgary Perf. Parts Center is now a JB'S Power center... And I cant get a hold of the BC Office for TYA. Does that mean I don't have to pay my acct? Haha..

Did they buy PPC? if so then they unfortunatly bought all the debts too, so yeah you gotta pay! lol

I dont know what is going on in Calgary, but makes sense why I saw one of PPC main employee's at Mopac talking to the manager, could be totally coincidental though. I hear there is a good perf. parts store in Rimbey, if not CVS can get alot of stuff that mopac and PPC couldnt get.....

The franchise, stock, and staff (per the individuals decision) have all been acquired by Jim Bell. Langely was closed roughly three weeks ago, the sale of Edmonton and Calgary locations was not known until the last few days of August. "Surprise, we're closing" kind of situation for the guys. As far as I know Dwayne and Darrin are staying at the Calgary location, and will be joined by some of the Edmonton JB's guys. Hopefully this will turn the store around. In Edmonton, Jim showed interest in turning the 170 St. location into a full blown "speed shop", similar to the Langly/Vancouver Mopac. Expect some changes to happen at the 170 St. location by Christmas. FYI, keep visiting the stores to find some killer deals. The stock overlap is intense, and there will most likely be some clearing out of certain lines.
