Well the tech guys had a nice long look at my truck Afraid, after I was warned that i would be kicked out of i went 11.50 or faster I decided to tone it down a little.

So i removed the 150 Jets and Installed the 100 Jets.
Still ran a best on the night of 11.709@117.8 1.62 60'

I did 2 passes tonight on the ET Drags. Let's just say Z_fan couldn't have held onto his position in the top 10 list on 780 tuners by any narrower of a margin
first pass - launch 7.5psi - 14.7psi 3-4 gears - 12.28@123.91mph
2nd pass - launch 8.5psi - 16psi 3-4 gears - 11.92@125.50mph

Haha, 1/100th of a second I missed out by. Not bad for the 2nd pass in the car  Thumbsup

Now I just have to learn how to drive, and put some more power to it !

ps. I really should have ran again. It dropped a good 10 degrees at the end of the night, and I missed out on the cold temps, but it was a very long day and 2 123+mph passes are very tiring on a guy who was tired to start with.

I ran my best of 12.169 @ 118.20 mph.  I was on BFG drag radials and pulled a 1.82 60 foot on this run.  Not too bad of a 60 foot for a heavy IRS Cobra  Cowboy

i ran a new best of 11.98@122.5 mph it just pisses me off because the tranny slips in the top of every gear i know the cars making the power to go low 11's if not high 10's it just spins/breaks/ or slips the tranny fuckin overdrives cant take torque  ahhh well im still happy  with it on a 8" wide drag radial stock suspension front and rear (bottomed out hard on the rear on launch) then last run of the night i launched it just wiked hard on spray right out of the hole and BANG broke a stub axle in the diff.... ahh well easy fix... anyone got any slicks they wanna let me try

If you are running 4 bolt and still the same bolt pattern as a Mustang, I have a friend with some MT 26x8 ET Drags mounted on a set of phone dials he might let you borrow

Not bad... were you running out of revs?  think the car can handle more boost in the lower gears?? any vids??

good to see the car start to run some numbers...

Yeah, I'm still learning my boost limits on slicks. I decided to start low because last time out I had the driveshaft trouble. If I analyze my runs, I had 1.81 60', and trapped 125mph, so I can determine that I was lacking in 1/8th mile power (8.5psi in 1st and 2nd). I'm just going to bring it up a few psi at a time in the lower gears until I find the traction limits of the car. I have SO much to learn about drag racing this car (tire pressure, boost in each gear, rpm's etc.). I'm confident if I left the boost where it sits, the car would get 1/2 second faster once I learn a bit more about the car at the track. But really, the boost is very low, the turbo isn 't even happy until 20psi  Tongue

I had slept 4 hours on thursday night, and after 2 highly intense passes decided to call it quits (I'm geting old) haha... Next time out I'll see what I can do...

Great Passes James, did Ryan run anymore or better then his 13.9?

I "thought" Ryan got a 13.7, but he stopped running really early in the night. I think he was more interested in watching everyone else run. I feel that way sometimes too. You spend so much time worrying about your own car that you miss out on the whole event.

i made it out late last night to watch,  saw a few cars from here that i recognized,  the white supercharged mustang is hard to miss...  i was also impressed with your rx7,  tirefryin_RX7 its pretty badass.

Vr6t, your car was hauling Two Thumbs Up!  what size slicks are you running?

i'd have to say though the guy with the turbo busa takes the cake, that guy is nuts!
